my favorite by them. There’s a seeetness but not overbearing just enough.

Another homerun from plasencia. I find the dark chocolate notes stronger with a little pepper and coffee. Slightly less bold than the Alma fuerte black wrapper. It’s my second all time favorite cigar. Burn, draw, and smoke are all flawless. I cannot say enough about the plasencia brand, they know what they are doing. Another cigar that has never let me down. I have to stop buying them and save money for my kids college funds.

I tried one from the box, less than a week after I received them. I have only smoked the Plasencia Cosecha 151 and Alma del Campo and both were buttery smooth. I enjoyed both of them but neither left me with any distinct tastes that i thought stood out above any others. The 149 had a distinct green grass or green hay flavor. I did not find it offensive or delightful, but it definitely stood out. I think the 149 was the stronger of the three in terms of nicotine and flavor. Perhaps that green hay flavor will grow on me over the next nine I have left, time will tell. The most memorable cigar I ever had was a Dunhill Monte Cruz back in the 90s. It had a distinct raw mushroom taste which struck me as absolutely delightful. Perhaps this 149 will be the same.
