The Weller by Cohiba 2024 uses a Connecticut broadleaf binder aged in Weller Full Proof barrels, while the wrapper is an Ecuadorian Sumatra leaf and the filler comes from the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Nicaragua.
The Weller by Cohiba collection is adding a new humidor for the holiday season, and with it comes the return of the 2022 and 2023 editions of the cigars alongside the most recent release. The set includes a single cigar from the three releases alongside two custom Weller by Cohiba whiskey glasses and a travel humidor, which are packaged a decorative box.
The cigars come in a 6 x 50 toro vitola and are presented in tubes styled after the Weller Bourbon expressions by which they were influenced, and were produced at General Cigar Dominicana.
“Cohiba’s partnership with Weller Bourbon has been a collaboration between two true masters of our respective crafts,” said Sean Williams, brand ambassador for Cohiba, in a press release. “Together, we were able to make this limited offering and give both cigar and bourbon fans an opportunity to try both side-by-side.”
The humidor measures 15 x 12 x 7 inches, and once the trays and spacers used to hold the tubes and glasses are removed, it can hold approximately 80 cigars, depending on their size.
