The Viaje Shotgun Shells line has returned with the releasing a new batch of the Super Shot
The Super Shot’s blend features a Nicaraguan criollo wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and filler underneath. Offered in two vitolas, the 10 Gauge, which measures 3 1/2 x 54, and the 12 Gauge, which measures 3 1/4 x 52. As in previous releases, each box contains 25 cigars.
The Super Shot line was first released in early 2012, drawing inspiration from clay shooting, a sport that Viaje founder Andre Farkas had taken up at the time. He found himself getting frustrated with not having a cigar short enough to smoke between rounds, so he created the line with its two short robusto vitolas, packaging them in boxes designed to look like the ones in which actual shotgun shells are packaged.
