FILLED MY PIPE UP WITH THIS TASTY TOBACCO AND FOUND THIS TO REALLY HAVE A GREAT TASTE AT FIRST, AND SOMEWHAT OF A DIFFERENT TASTE AFTERWARDS.. BOTH WERE REALLY PLEASING WHEN BLOWN THROUGH MY NOSTRILS AND OUT OF MY MOUTH!! TMI.. YEAH I KNOW.. BUT MOST PIPE SMOKERS LOVE DOING IT!! THIS IS REALLY SOME GREAT SMOKING TOBACCO AND I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A HARISH STIFF/STERN TOBACCO, THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT IT.. THE AROMA YOU SMELL AND TASTE WILL DEFINATELY KEEP YOU COMING BACK FOR MORE, IF NOT TO SMOKE EXACTLY AS IT COMES, THEN TO ADD AND MIX TO OTHER BLENDS OF TOBACCO, WHICH SAD TO SAY I HAVEN’T DONE YET, BUT I WILL!!!!

Very nice, I get complements from all the Old school pipe smokers here in Afghanistan. Sergeants’ always asking what that sweet smell in my pipe is. This is a very smooth sweet smoke that I highly recommend.

This blend is awesome. It is a nice sweet smoke that wont goop up your pipe. The flavor remains fairly consistent through the entire bowl, and it burns to a fine ash. As great as this blend is, I think there is still one better. Black Gold Plus of course. I actually go between the two, trying to decide which is better.

i finally broke down and bought another pound of this delicious tobacco. I have tried sundry blends of Virginias and other blends of the non-aromatic variety and found that I had to return to the best tobacco I have ever smoked. Black Gold is mild and tasty leaving with a good flavor to your palate. It smokes clean down to the dottle and never bites. This tobacco gets rave reviews from others who enter my domain while smoking saying how much they enjoy the aroma. It is also the perfect humidity level when received and doesn’t dry out when kept in my canisters. Go ahead and treat yourself to Black Gold. You won’t be disappointed!!
