As for the new and notable cigars in the samplers, the Tatuaje Shaggy Pumpkin is a 6 x 52 toro that has a small, unfinished foot to give the smoker a chance to taste the flavor of the filler and binder for a bit before the burn line hits the wrapper and its flavors are added to the profile. As for the blend, it is a change from previous Pumpkin releases, with Pete Johnson selecting a Nicaraguan corojo wrapper to go over a Nicaraguan double binder and filler. Previous Pumpkin releases have used a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, with Johnson saying he made the change to keep the series interesting and contribute something exclusive for the sampler. The cigars are produced at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Also coming out of the My Father Cigars factory is a cigar that Janny Garcia said has not been sold before, noting that it comes from a group of cigars that have only been available at events. Details about the blend, as well as the dimensions of the cigar, have not yet been confirmed by the company.

Oliva has contributed the Serie V Melanio Edición Limitada 2021, a 4 x 60 vitola that had previously only been outside of the U.S. The company is also contributing its Serie V Melanio Maduro Limited Edition, which comes in a 7 x 50 Churchill vitola, though it won’t be featured in every pack, as several manufacturers have come together to provide the 10th cigar in each sampler.

In that group as well is the La Aroma de Cuba Small Batch #225, a cigar that is only sold at Ashton Cigar Bar in Philadelphia, Pa. It is a 6 x 52 toro that debuted around 2015 and uses a Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler.

Arturo Fuente has contributed a cigar from its Rare Pinks Vintage 1960’s Series, the 5 1/2 x 53 perfecto named Happy Ending that was part of the four original vitolas. The line, which debuted in December 2020 and has been extremely limited in its availability, uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler, including tobacco that comes from the company’s farms in Estelí. The company is also adding the Fuente Fuente OpusX Shark as one of the possible randomly assigned cigars in the packs.
